As a member of our Put Away Associate Team, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining our culture of customer service excellence. Our Put Away Associates are required to have experience accurately handling, storing, and replenishing warehouse inventory while ensuring safety and efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to build rapport with internal and external customers

• Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team

• Basic mathematical aptitude

• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage time effectively

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

• Ability to communicate in English regarding essential job functions

What You’ll Do:

• Follow all Porter Family Company safety rules and procedures

• Record, monitor, and manage items with shelf-life and report expired materials

• Safely transport materials to designated storage locations

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up order pickers safely

• Follow proper lifting and stacking procedures; maintain organized shelving and clear aisles

• Accurately scan, label, and record inventory movements

• Report damaged goods, inventory discrepancies, or safety concerns to supervisors

• Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and quality objectives

• Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring:

• High school diploma or GED

• Minimum of one year of prior warehouse experience

• Forklift experience preferred but not required

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs

• Requires visual, hearing, and speech acuity

• Ability to stand and walk long distances for extended periods

• Exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, and warehouse elements
