Join Our Team!

We have an immediate need for part-time Concierge to join our team at Varick Peterson Homes, one of United Group’s professionally managed multi-family apartment communities located in Newburgh, NY.  To learn more about our property, please visit: https://www.varickhomes.com/ 

Resident Services
  • Turns on/off the answer service and promptly retrieves all messages
  • Answers all phone calls/take messages and/or directs to the right department
  • Greets prospective and existing residents and assists them
  • Makes daily calls to residents on the call list
  • Assists office with mailing out flyers and related collateral
  • Assists in preparing guest and lease packets with all pertinent information
  • Opens and closes model apartment
  • Assists with resident event;
  • Restocks refreshment area with supplies
  • Delivers flyers, packages, and notices to residents
  • Assists with entering perspective residents/leads and completing work orders in Entrata
Safety Monitoring
  • Assist residents with various needs, i.e., responsible for responding to residents' requests and emergencies
  • Keeps work areas clean, orderly, and safe 
  • Notifies Property Manager and/or Maintenance of all problems and potential issues
Job Overview + Requirements
  • Job Type: Concierge; $22 per hour; Part Time; Hourly/Non – Exempt
  • Work Hours: Monday – Friday; varies based on operation and business needs 
  • Required Education: High School Diploma required 
  • Required Experience: 2+ years of experience in front desk reception, concierge, or related customer service / support roles; preferred experience in property management. 
  • Qualities: Demonstrates integrity on a personal and professional level; Exceptional communication with emphasis on customer service; Ability to solve problems involving residents, maintenance, and challenging situations.
