Hybrid Systems Engineer bei Valiant-X

About the Role:

Valiant-X is seeking Senior Systems Engineers to support USCYBERCOM and Integrated Defensive Cyber System (IDCS) efforts. These roles are high-priority, mission-critical, and funded — we are actively interviewing and looking to fill immediately.

You will be responsible for engineering, documenting, and modeling complex cyber systems that directly support national defense.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, analyze, and maintain digital models of the Integrated Defensive Cyber System (IDCS)

• Model requirements, use cases, system architecture, interconnections, and functional flows

• Provide system-level support to cyber operational planning and execution

• Work with various JCC2 programs (Joint Cyber Ops, Threat Awareness Sharing Capabilities, MADSS, Readiness Apps, etc.)

• Draft and deliver polished technical documents, reports, briefings, and executive summaries

• Apply critical thinking and multi-tasking to meet evolving priorities under tight deadlines

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI clearance (must be in scope; Polygraph may be required)

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, or a related field

• USCYBERCOM experience required

• Deep understanding of JCC2 programs and tools

• Strong familiarity with military operations planning and execution

• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and a wide range of communications media (satellite, fiber, wireless, etc.)

• Ability to produce high-quality written materials under pressure

Pay: $105,000 – $130,000 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday
