Job Description Summary

The Supply Chain Apprentice has a transversal role, supporting the team from the planning upstream, to the delivery of medicines, in order to have the best quality of service and ensuring effective communication flow across all departments within the subsidiary and on a global level


 

Job Description

  • Support for Demand Management:

    • Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
    • Oversee inventory levels and ensure optimal stock management.
    • Update and generate dashboards, perform analyses, and provide relevant assessments to support decision-making.
    • Participate in product destruction operations in compliance with company procedures and regulations.
  • Vendor Evaluation:

    • Assist in evaluating the performance of distribution providers in terms of quality, cost-effectiveness, and deadlines.
    • Contribute to managing and maintaining strong relationships with distribution providers through active communication and collaboration.
  • Process Optimization:

    • Analyze current practices and propose strategies for improvement.
    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at streamlining supply chain operations.
  • Internal Communication:

    • Collaborate closely with production and logistics teams to ensure alignment of supply needs with operational planning.
    • Participate in team meetings, actively contribute, and document key discussions and action points.

Profile Requirements:

  • Background in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or related fields (Bachelor’s or Master's in progress).
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience working on dashboards or data analyses.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an attention to detail and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams and external vendors.
  • Interest in the pharmaceutical industry and its regulatory requirements is an advantage
