Aethos currently operates seven properties and with more openings coming in 2025. Our receptionists aren’t just desk sitters — they’re storytellers, problem-solvers, and unofficial tour guides. ●        To create a warm, welcoming and lasting impression for our guests.

 

●        To provide a genuine, attentive, and friendly service to our guests to reflect our Aethos standards.

 

●        To handle incoming enquiries swiftly regarding check in/check out times, room availability, hotels services.

 

●        To deal with the arrival and departure processes for all guests, ensuring all standard operating procedures are adhered to.

 

●        To have a good knowledge of Mews beneficial and ensure all guest information is captured.

 

●        To carefully handle all necessary payments in line with department SOPs.

 

●        To be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of guest billing, financial transactions and the Reception float.

 

●        To maximize revenue by upselling hotel services including transportation, room category/breakfast upsells, F&B and Spa.

 

●        To anticipate guest’s needs and provide them with a personalised, crafted experience.

 

●        Collaborate with all other teams in the hotel, and all outsourced business partners to ensure the utmost satisfaction for our guests.

●        To ensure compliance with standards of operation.

●        To be an ambassador for Aethos as well as someone who embodies our values.

 

●        A proactive, enthusiastic and committed individual, with a can-do attitude who looks for opportunities to improve their performance.

●        A guest-oriented individual who is able to drive operational excellence.

●        Flexibility to react to changing requirements in a dynamic environment.

●        Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.

●        Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.

●        Previous Hotel Receptionist experience in a 5-star and/or lifestyle property.

●        Excellent grooming standards.

●        Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

●        Competent level of IT proficiency.

●        Fluent in written and spoken English.

●        Knowledge of MEWS PMS and Unifocus is a plus.
