ACM is seeking an experienced Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative This position is responsible for communication surrounding orders, quotes, deliveries, and inquiries of those products manufactured or distributed through Catalog Plus. (Previously known as ACM and ABC Catalog) A complete understanding of our product line offering is required. Specific duties may include:

• Recording sales orders via JD Edwards (JDE) ERP systems
• Initiating credit requests
• Managing projects as needed to improve the profitability of the company
• Maximizing on-time delivery performance and customer satisfaction
• Handling calls and customer service issues
• Assisting in developing stocking programs

Specific qualifications include:

• College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous ERP experience is preferred, specifically JD Edwards (JDE)
• Previous sales and/or customer service, including an understanding of manufacturing and purchasing lead times, is preferred
• Ability to read prints and interpret drawings
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to multitask and analyze quickly
• Strong mathematical skills
• Strong conflict resolution skills

Physical Demand: 

• Associate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for a full 8-hour day.
• Periodical travel required
   

Work Environment: 

• 100% manufacturing setting
• Machines have pinch points, fast moving parts and protruding parts, which present themselves as a potential injury. Associate must comply with assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirement in varies areas, including but not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and safety shoes.
• Associate will have exposure to typical working conditions within the manufacturing environment, including but not limited to, seasonal temperature changes, occasional exposure to exhaust fumes, dirt, dust, debris, and grease, moving forklift equipment, and pinch points on machinery.
