For over 24 years, the YMCA International Learning Center (ILC) in Boston has been empowering immigrants by teaching English and providing essential employment skills, transforming lives and strengthening communities.

Our current focus is on the East Boston community, where we offer in-person ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes tailored specifically for non-English-speaking adults. In addition, we provide a unique culinary program that integrates an ESOL component, offering language instruction contextualized within the culinary field to support participants in building both language proficiency and industry-specific skills.

We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic morning ESOL teacher to join our team. This role is about more than teaching—it’s about empowering individuals, nurturing families, and helping newcomers thrive as they become a part of our shared community.
Come be a part of this meaningful journey and help us continue making a lasting impact!
