Working in a team of 12, you will be supporting the Front Office Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of the hotel in order to achieve our purpose.%3Co:p%3E%3C/o:p%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cp class=%22MsoNormal%22%3E%3Cstrong%3ESome of the responsibilities include:%3C/strong%3E%3Co:p%3E%3C/o:p%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3E%3Cp class=%22MsoNormal%22%3ETo ensure smooth and efficient operation of the Front Office on a day to day basis including cleanliness%3Co:p%3E%3C/o:p%3E%3C/p%3E%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E%3Cp class=%22MsoNormal%22%3ETo handle all arrival and departure records%3Co:p%3E%3C/o:p%3E%3C/p%3E%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E%3Cp class=%22MsoNormal%22%3ETo perform cashiering duties as required in relation to foreign currency exchange, payments, charges and checking out%3Co:p%3E%3C/o:p%3E%3C/p%3E%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E%3Cp class=%22MsoNormal%22%3ETo show hotel rooms and suits to prospective clients and guests%3Co:p%3E%3C/o:p%3E%3C/p%3E%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E%3Cp class=%22MsoNormal%22%3ETo handle guest enquiries and requests and to have a thorough knowledge of Melbourne and its surrounding areas%3Co:p%3E%3C/o:p%3E%3C/p%3E%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3E%3Cp class=%22MsoNormal%22%3ETo assist in maintaining a high level of security for guests, staff and hotel property%3Co:p%3E%3C/o:p%3E%3C/p%3E%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E
  • Previous work experience in a similar fast-paced hotel operations or reservations environment

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and time management skills with a strong ability to multi-task

  • Superior customer service skills along with excellent service resolution skills

  • The capability of working both autonomously and as part of a team

  • The ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of 5 star grooming standards

  • The flexibility to work on a rotating 24/ roster, including public holidays
