We are looking for a sharp, impact-oriented Senior Business Analyst to lead Reactivation Strategy for our real-money gaming platform. This person will own the full lifecycle - from player churn diagnosis to designing and measuring campaign impact - with the goal of driving repeatable, scalable reactivation and retention of lapsed players, especially high-value cohorts.
This is a high-ownership role that sits at the intersection of analytics, product, growth, CRM, and marketing, with a strong experimentation charter.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Analytics
Own KPIs like daily reactivations, reactivation to purchase rate, average daily revenue post-reactivation, D1/D7/D15 retention, and ARPU uplift across monetary segments.
Build and maintain cohort-wise reactivation models, churn diagnostics, and predictive retention scoring.
Monitor overall retention/reactivation targets for specific games, budget utilization vs return and plan necessary course correction wherever required
Translate insights into strategic hypotheses for recovery, win-back, and nurturing of players.
Use behavior data (e.g. win/loss ratio, wager/purchase ratio, redeems, bonus usage) to identify micro-moments and journey drop-offs.
Segmentation & Personalization
Set up dynamic offers, milestone based rewards, and experience rules using in-app gameplay.
Create real-time user segments based on inactivity length, LTV, bonus sensitivity, and purchase history.
Plan journey-level automations (e.g., 48h, 72h, 120h nudge plans) to be executed via tools like CleverTap and Plotline, with clear logic, segmentation, and timing mapped for CRM execution teams.
Measurement & Reporting
Track impact of every campaign on reactivation funnel: Reach → Reactivation → Gameplay → Repeat Retention.
Build automated dashboards and campaign ROI trackers through tools like MicroStrategy, Excel, SQL.
Share insights with senior leadership and recommend scale/iteration plans based on pilot outcomes.
What You Bring:
3–5 years of experience in business analytics, with at least 1–2 years in retention/reactivation/growth analytics.
Proficiency in SQL, spreadsheet modeling, and at least one of: Python/R/Tableau/PowerBI.
Hands-on knowledge of CRM/Marketing Automation tools like CleverTap, MoEngage, WebEngage, etc.
Experience working in a high-paced B2C environment — gaming, fintech, e-comm, or consumer tech preferred.
Strong storytelling: ability to turn data into clear hypotheses, actions, and communication briefs.
Exposure to A/B testing, bonus cost modeling, and ROI-backed growth campaigns.
Bonus: Familiarity with gaming mechanics like bonus buckets, play pass, and game economy constraints.
