Overview: Provide office managerial support to the SVP/CFO, and correspond with members of management for the efficient operations of the Accounting and Finance Department.   

Maintain office services by managing office operations and procedures. Manage the Purchasing and Accounts Payable units of the Accounting and Finance Department.

Responsibilities:

Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following: 

• Manage communication flow by referring callers to the appropriate person.
• Prepare operational reports and schedules to ensure efficiency.
• Participate and assist in the administration of the department budget, prepare budget reports, track expenditures, and compile annual budget requests. 
• Assist with audits.
• Supervise the Purchasing and Accounts Payable unit functions and staff.
• Review the Daily Purchase Registrations for SVP/CFO review.
• Coordinate materials for meetings, lectures and other presentations.  
• Prepare departmental expense analyses and coordinate with other departments, regarding the explanation of variances.  
• Assist Accounting and Finance Management with yearly budget preparations.  
• Responsible for the accurate typing of the annual budget, departmental budget, narrative for explanations of variances, and footnotes and disclosures included in the financial statements.  
• Perform other duties as required
• Travel as required

Requirements:

• College Degree required or equivalent working experience.
•  Minimum of five years progressively responsible administrative/clerical experience.
• Minimum two years accounting experience, preferably in a bank or credit union.  
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to multitask. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
