The Senior Analyst, Financial Analysis role develops, interprets and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control. Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. Responsible for budgeting, monthly forecasts, variance analysis and OpEx management of the business functions they support. Will partner with Sr. Leadership in the organization for the functions they will support and provide relevant support.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Prepares financial and business related analyses, research and risk assessment in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation and investments.
- Prepares expense forecasts and analyzes trends on a monthly basis, primarily for the Sales and Marketing business functions.
- Responsible for building and overseeing financial budgets.
- Perform reconciliation for actual results against plan/forecast and provide explanation for material variances.
- Utilizes computer systems to compile and prepare reports, graphs and charts of data developed.
- Assists in the development of business policies, conducts special financial and business related analysis, and cooperates with other departments in the preparation of analyses.
- Builds and develops relationships with key stakeholders and customers in order to achieve business goals including Sr Management.
- Required to assist with Audits.
- Ensures corporate compliance to government regulations and internal controls.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Full management of the OpEx for their business functions.
- Budgeting and monthly forecasting.
- Monthly and Quarterly closes.
- Prepares variance analysis of actual, forecast and planned results
- Prepares, researches and reviews journal entries and supporting documentation to ensure accurate reporting
- Develops and maintains financial models and reports.
- Determines and updates cost center requirements and rollup structures.
- Provides support to their functions leaders, whilst maintaining financial accountability but supporting the business to grow sustainably and drive initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, reporting cadence, and systems.

Education & Experience:
- Typically requires 4+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent experience.
