JOB SUMMARY:
Order Pickers are responsible for performing warehouse duties individually and with a team. Duties include: shipping, receiving, checking, VAS, packing and material stocking. They must also understand and maintain a working knowledge of warehouse management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (includes other duties as required):
- Accurately process customer orders as listed on picking sheets by locating the proper quantity, style, size, and color.
- Accurately collate packing lists and shipping labels for each order assigned.
- Effectively picks, verifies accuracy, and prepares orders for shipment, according to company guidelines and standards.
- Monitors the quality of products being shipped out of the warehouse distribution centers to customers.
- Rotates inventory using first in/first out (FIFO) protocol.
- Assigned other duties in the DC warehouse as required.
- Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed.
- May be assigned to other duties within the facility.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - 2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must have strong basic math skills and the ability to count quickly and accurately.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills (familiar with Windows based software) or shipping software programs such as UPS World Ship, FedEx Ship Manager, M3 ERP software, etc.
- Maintain attendance and minimum levels of productivity and accuracy.
- Ability to accurately enter data for invoicing and shipping.

- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. on a regular basis.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This position works in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse. It can be hot in the summer and cool in the winter.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required to ensure safety.
WORK HOURS:
- Part-time employment: Monday-Friday, 1:00PM-5:00PM
- Overtime and weekend work may be offered during busy periods.
DRESS CODE:
- Dress Appropriate.
- Closed-toe shoes are required.
- Required PPE.
