- Lead GIS deliverables for mid- to late-stage renewable energy projects, including construction-phase mapping, site updates, and final deliverables.
- Maintain and update project web maps, integrating new consulting data, survey results, and development changes.
- Prepare and maintain data rooms for external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and completeness in collaboration with internal project leads.
- Post-process ALTA Survey, CAD files, buildable area datasets, and standardized consultant data layers.
- Participate in weekly team meetings to provide technical support on projects
- Process, standardize, and integrate incoming consultant data into GIS maps and enterprise systems.
- Provide timely ad hoc GIS support and mapping deliverables to project teams.
- Write, run, and maintain Python scripts to support data backup processes, data quality control, and workflow automation.
- Implement and run quality control scripts to ensure IRTH and ArcGIS parcel data are accurately synchronized.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with development, engineering, and project delivery teams to ensure GIS outputs meet project needs.
- Mentor GIS staff and promote consistent GIS practices across projects and entities.
- 7+ years of progressive experience working with GIS systems and providing presentation-ready maps that effectively communicate project details to internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
- Experience supporting GIS systems for renewable energy or other power projects from development through completion
- Advanced proficiency with ArcGIS Enterprise (administration, publishing, and web map creation)
- Experience with spatial data file creation, editing, and attribute definitions
- Proven ability to integrate survey data (e.g., ALTA surveys) and consultant deliverables into standardized GIS layers.
- Strong understanding of data quality control, spatial analysis, and automation tools (e.g., Power Automate).
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in clear, actionable formats.
- Prior experience supervising or mentoring staff is desired
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Information Systems, or related field desired
- Willing to travel up to 10%
