Professional Solutions Delivered, LLC (ProSoDel) is a total solutions provider for government and commercial customers in the areas of Program Management, Logistics, Organizational Change Management, Communications, Training, and Information Technology (IT) Support Services. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic (Electrician) to join our team of professionals in support of the NMRLC Warehouse Support Services Program. 

 

Essential Duties & Job Functions: 

  • Manage the Civil Engineering Support Equipment (CESE) inventory, including operation, inspections, first echelon maintenance, and records management of all NMRLC CESE. 
  • Provide organizational-level maintenance, including inspections, checking/topping off fluids, replacing batteries, load testing generators, cycling equipment, and annotating discrepancies to ensure proper operation. 
  • Perform all inspections, Start Up (SU), equipment cycling, and Lay Up (LU) maintenance in accordance with NMRLC CESE Quarterly Cycling Checklists and/or OEM manuals. 
  • Annotate deficiencies and repairs on NAVFAC 11200/41 Equipment Repair Orders or other government maintenance databases as directed. 
  • Provide work orders to the NMRLC CEE Manager for repair and deliver equipment to the NMRLC maintenance shop. 
  • Receive CESE from EXMEDS retrogrades, new receipts, and returns from maintenance activities. 
  • Clean, fuel, update records, and stow CESE as identified by NMRLC local instructions. 
  • Inspect retrograded and new receipts for shipping damage, offload mobile-loaded assets, remove shrink wrap, and strip previous shipping/MPF labels and RFID tags. 
  • Clean CESE interiors to remove trash and debris and notify the Government of new receipts. 
  • Warehouse CESE based on Government-provided planned obligations inside CAD30 or other designated areas. 
  • Stage CESE scheduled for transfer to other activities or DLADS outside of CAD115. 
  • Store and maintain CESE in the obligated platform until directed for EXMEDS deployment, alternate obligation, or disposition. 
  • Conduct walk-through surveillance inspections to identify problems such as leaks or damage. 
  • Perform a complete operational test of each CESE item quarterly. 
  • Conduct limited repairs, including replacing headlights, changing tires, charging/replacing batteries, and other basic fixes. 
  • Maintain CESE collateral gear with assigned equipment unless authorized for removal. 
  • Preserve CESE in operational condition by: maintaining fuel at 1/4 tank, shutting off battery disconnect switches or disconnecting negative terminals, keeping tires at recommended pressure, tightening/replacing belts, adding POLs as needed, replacing markings and decals, closing doors/windows, and replacing batteries when required. 
  • Coordinate major corrective repairs through the CEE Manager at weekly meetings or as directed by the Government. 
  • Perform prestart inspections and stage CESE for transfer, documenting damages through joint inspections and signed transfer documents. 
  • File repair orders, condition codes, and platform assignments in the CESE history jacket. 
  • Prepare CESE for shipment via air or surface, including inspections, fuel adjustments, mobile loading, securing loads, and staging in designated areas. 
  • Attach packing slips and shipping labels per NMRLC requirements and wash CESE prior to shipment. 
  • Pressure wash exterior surfaces and clean interiors prior to storage, after maintenance, and before deployment staging. 
  • Remove keys from CESE staged outside designated CAD locations and coordinate access with NMRLC staff at least one business day in advance. 
  • Report all facility or equipment damage immediately to NMRLC Facilities and the CEE Manager. 
  • Performs related work as assigned.

Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Professional Associations) 

 

Experience 

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience as an Electrician. 
  • Previous United States military service experience is a HUGE PLUS.

Additional Requirements 

  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to work a light to moderate physical effort. Requirements include walking, standing, reaching, bending, and moving items. May require lifting and carrying weight over 45 pounds.
  • Must have the ability to read, interpret and apply reference material such as regulations, manuals, catalogs, records, orders, etc. to accomplish and resolve problems; the ability to read and speak the English language, correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and format to prepare and edit written correspondence, reports, and transcribed material; be proficient in US standard office equipment, such as computers, copiers, fax machines, telephone systems and office automation systems, to perform a substantial range of warehouse support; and the knowledge of basic ethical principles, telephone etiquette, excellent communications and customer service skills and ability.

Clearance 

  • Must be a United States Citizen
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation (minimum T-1/NACI)
