Hybrid Engineer II - Painter - Full Time bei None

Role: Performs a variety of skilled tasks painting, finishing and maintaining a wide variety of interior and exterior surfaces and structures. SKILLS/QUALIFICATAIONS:  

• Three years experience in painting; prefer certificate in painting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.   
• Knowledge of painting techniques.
• Knowledge of refinishing techniques.
• Knowledge of stain-grade trim work, chemicals, cleaners and disinfectants. 
• Knowledge of MSDS, Occupational hazards and applicable safety hazards. 
• Knowledge of methods and practices used in preventative maintenance and repair work. 
• Ability to operate tools of all types, control air compressors, use manual tools, operate power tools. 
• Ability to manage several tasks.
• Ability to communicate read and write in English.
• Ability to demonstrate outstanding guest service at all times both internal and external. 
• Ability to prepare and maintain work orders. 
• Ability to prioritize and accomplish tasks within strict deadlines. 
• Ability to continually seek improvement in results. 
• Skill in diagnosing and repair of equipment utilized. 

REQUIRED CERTIFICATE/LICENSE:  

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Certificate in painting preferred. 
• Must have valid drivers license. 
• Must be able to pass a pre employment drug/alcohol screen. 

MAJOR JOB DUTIES:  Duties include, but are not limited, to the following:

• Repair, restore and maintain upkeep of various items and related equipment. 
• Prepares, primes, sands, seals, patches and paints furniture, buildings and fixtures utilizing all types of painting materials such as varnish, lacquer, shellac, enamel latex, epoxy, water-proofing and heat resistant finishes. 
• Tapes, flushes, repairs and texturing, wall covering and acoustic layers on a variety of surfaces. Adjust colors when necessary; utilizes enhanced finishing skills when appropriate. 
• Graffiti response and removal using a variety of products. 
• Match woods and colors.
• Ensures adequate stock of materials is in inventory.
• Evaluate situations to determine appropriate action is regard to repair or replace; responds to repair calls. 
• Maintains accurate records of repairs, materials, labor and tools. 
• Operates, cleans and maintains all painting equipment. Safely stores and labels all materials. 
• Erects scaffolding, rigging and ladders as necessary that adheres to all safety codes. 
• Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required. Performs other duties as required.
