Hybrid Data Analyst bei Assured Guaranty

Position Summary

The Data Analyst will play a critical role in managing and maintaining a comprehensive database of financial, demographic, geospatial, and administrative data sourced from legal documents issued by municipal bond entities. This position involves coordinating both manual and automated data collection workflows, ensuring efficient and accurate data acquisition. The analyst will be actively engaged in daily operations, including data collection, validation, and quality assurance, to support high standards of data integrity and reliability.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct daily data operations, including collection, validation, and quality assurance of financial and administrative data
• Manage and optimize manual and automated data collection processes to ensure timely and accurate data ingestion
• Coordinate with underwriting and surveillance teams to align data workflows with business needs and ensure data consistency across functions
• Monitor data quality and implement improvements to enhance reliability and usability
• Maintain documentation of data sources, collection methodologies, and validation procedures
• Participate in new transaction onboarding/procurement process

Candidate Background

• BS in accounting, finance, public policy, economics or other related business degree
• Strong knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Working experience in a financial data/service industry is a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong time management skills
• Self-motivated
• Good communication skills
• Basic management skills
• Knowledge in financial accounting
