Job Title: Community Relations and Events Specialist

Job Summary:
The Community Relations and Events Specialist serves as the public-facing ambassador of EPIC Health, building strong relationships with community partners, influencers, and local organizations. This individual is responsible for increasing community awareness, generating patient referrals, and planning engaging events that highlight EPIC Health’s mission to provide accessible, high-quality care.
This is a high-energy role that requires networking savvy, event planning experience, and the ability to create memorable experiences that build trust and drive patient acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Outreach & Relationship Management
- Conduct 4+ in-person visits daily with local partners such as senior centers, religious institutions, small businesses, or civic organizations to develop relationships and drive patient referrals with their organization.
- Host or attend evening events, community dinners, or town halls with partners.
- Identify new local partners weekly (e.g., barbershops, salons, schools, etc.).
- Maintain regular communication to nurture relationships and secure ongoing collaboration opportunities.
Phone & Virtual Outreach
- Make 10+ outbound calls daily to brokers, local leaders, or event prospects.
- Secure event partnerships, patient referral opportunities, or co-branded collaborations.
- Follow up on leads to nurture and convert into formal partnerships.
Event Coordination
- Organize or support 2–3 events weekly such as health fairs, pop-ups, or influencer dinners.
- Coordinate event logistics: location, vendors, staffing, marketing, and supplies.
- Represent EPIC at community events with professionalism, knowledge, and enthusiasm.
- Help set up branded items, inflatable health props, and community engagement games/tools.
Marketing & Special Projects
- Launch and help execute special initiatives such as:
- Mural campaigns
- Restaurant partnerships
- Grocery store health signage
- Track and report KPIs and outcomes from projects and events.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Event Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in event planning, community outreach, or sales.
- Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event/project management tools.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate evening/weekend events as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Relationship Builder: Able to form authentic connections quickly.
- Strong Communicator: Clear, persuasive, and engaging with diverse audiences.
- Self-Starter: Works independently, takes initiative, and drives results.
- Adaptable: Comfortable with changing priorities and last-minute adjustments.
- Detail-Oriented: Ensures smooth execution from planning to post-event follow-up.
