Job Summary/Objective:
The Project Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and completion of projects by assisting project managers and program teams with administrative tasks, scheduling, and communication. This entry-level role ensures smooth communication and coordination within the project team while gaining exposure to project management processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Other duties as assigned.
- Support project and program teams with administrative tasks, including data entry and report generation.
- Assist in creating and maintaining project plans, schedules, and documentation.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines, providing updates and reporting to stakeholders.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute meeting minutes.
- Act as a point of contact for internal teams and external partners to facilitate communication.
- Identify and address potential issues to keep projects on track.
- Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and documenting minutes.
- Partner with project controls and accounting to reconcile receipts and costs for materials, rentals, and subcontractors to ensure proper job costing.
- Assist in scheduling inspections, sub-contractors, rentals, and any other operational support activity as needed..
- Ensure new equipment is properly tagged and entered to the current asset tracking system.
- Assist in project close out document processing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in administrative roles or project coordination.
Preferred and Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 1-3 years in a general business environment with project coordination and/or administration experience.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and an ability to learn project tracking software.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and proactive problem-solving approach.
