As a Recruiter, you will recruit and source candidates for positions at all levels throughout the organization, managing the entire candidate experience. You will communicate regularly with hiring managers, identify quality applicants (assess skill set and position/team fit) and ensure that positions are filled in a timely manner.
This is a hybrid role, with a typical average of 1-2 days per week in office.
Pay: $70,000-73,000 annually, dependent on experience
Duties
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with hiring managers, candidates, colleagues, applicants, administrative staff, and others.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain an active applicant pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future positions. Proactively source, recruit potential staff (passive candidates) by leveraging personal, industry, association and network contacts.
- Network and participate with local and regional communities through job fairs, workforce centers, technical schools, community colleges, universities, etc.
- Conduct intake calls with hiring managers to assess skills needed for open roles, recommend recruiting strategies.
- Screen and interview a high volume of applicants for a variety of roles.
- Provide feedback to hiring manager on recruiting activity and challenges being faced.
- Leverage the applicant tracking system to ensure positions are filled with qualified candidates.
- Coordinate closure of job postings with hiring manager to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Communicate the Mercy core values to candidates. Assist candidates with the application process and questions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications of Position
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- Four (4) years’ experience in recruiting with extensive interviewing and sourcing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Human resources certification.
- Experience in property management and/or non-profit recruiting.
- High-volume recruiting experience.
Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and recruiting platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, Handshake, etc.).
