At Axon, we’re on a mission to Protect Life. We’re explorers, pursuing society’s most critical safety and justice issues with our ecosystem of devices and cloud software. Like our products, we work better together. We connect with candor and care, seeking out diverse perspectives from our customers, communities and each other.

Life at Axon is fast-paced, challenging and meaningful. Here, you’ll take ownership and drive real change. Constantly grow as you work hard for a mission that matters at a company where you matter.

Your Impact

We build technology that gives security teams and first responders the clarity to act in moments that matter. Our Real-Time Operations (RTO) portfolio and the Fusus platform is transforming how law enforcement, enterprise security, and international agencies detect, assess, and respond to threats.

As Head of Rapid Response – Real-Time Operations, you will own Axon’s strategy and execution for products that enable the first 120 seconds of an incident — the crucial window where speed, clarity, and coordinated action save lives.

You will lead a high-performing product team and work in close partnership with engineering, public safety thought leaders, and technology partners to deliver mission-critical early warning and rapid response solutions. This includes advancing next-generation 911 technologies, integrating them with real-time crime centers, and enabling drone-as-first-responder workflows.

Your scope will cover end-to-end capabilities: from 911/999 audio capture, transcription, and AI-generated summaries, to seamless delivery of actionable intelligence to first responders in the field and the communities they serve.

  • Set the Vision: Define and execute a bold product strategy for rapid incident detection and response, leveraging AI, video, and sensor technologies.
  • Drive Interoperability: Champion seamless integration across Axon’s devices, cloud services, and partner technologies to deliver unified, real-time operational intelligence.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Alignment: Align distributed Product, Engineering, and Design teams around a shared vision and roadmap.
  • Turn Insight into Action: Engage directly with customers to capture real-world requirements, prioritize high-impact initiatives, and translate them into actionable product plans.
  • Measure What Matters: Define and track adoption, operational performance, and customer impact metrics, using them to guide roadmap and execution priorities.

Work Location: This role is based out of our Seattle, WA office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. We believe that connection fuels innovation, and our in-office culture is designed to foster meaningful teamwork, mentorship, and shared success.
