Bone grafts, including Cerapedics’ products, are used in over four million annual spine, orthopedics, trauma and interventional procedures world-wide. Cerapedics’ product, i-FACTOR, is FDA PMA approved for cervical use in the United States. Cerapedics’ next-generation product is currently being evaluated in lumbar interbody fusion through ASPIRE, a pivotal FDA IDE study and has been granted a Breakthrough Device Designation by the FDA. In this role, you will contribute to our mission through strategically expanding our global footprint and ensuring successful product launches that bring innovative bone repair solutions to international markets. As an International Market Manager working on the Global Strategy and International team, you will be empowered through meaningful work and career development to lead go-to-market strategies, manage product lifecycles, and cultivate distributor partnerships that drive international revenue growth. A typical day will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to prepare for product launches, analyzing market trends and competitive landscapes, supporting distributors with training and marketing tools, and developing strategic plans to optimize product performance across regions. 

 

POSITION OBJECTIVES: 

Product Launch & Market Entry

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches in international regions.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Regulatory, Supply Chain) to ensure successful launches.


Product Management

  • Monitor the performance of existing products across markets and recommend enhancements or repositioning strategies.
  • Manage product lifecycle, pricing, and portfolio optimization in collaboration with regional teams.
  • Develop and manage international collateral to support existing products in all regions and new product launches. With the Director of Global Comms, develop and deploy global social media strategy and content where applicable
  • Collaborate with medical education to drive content and execute global paid podiums, distributor and surgeon dinners and customer visitations
  • Develop competitive intelligence tools including but not limited to intelligence reports against requested competitors, manage international competitive dataset, provide industry updates etc.


Distributor Management & Growth

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international distributors and partners to meet international growth targets
  • Co-develop joint business plans and performance metrics to drive sales and market share.
  • Provide training, marketing support, and strategic guidance to distributor networks.
  • Maintain and enhance communication with internal and external sales, distributors, vendors and customers
Requirements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 

  

• Minimum 5-10 years of medical device industry experience with preference to sales and marketing in spine

• Proven interpersonal skills, business acumen and product marketing skills

• Expertise in presenting and development of promotion, education, training tools in various mediums

• Previous sales and marketing experience using a direct and indirect sales channel in medical device

• Must possess the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

• Ability to travel internationally as needed

• Ability to interact with all levels inside and outside of the organization

• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point

 

EDUCATION AND PREFERRED TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, biology, business administration or related field required.
  • Minimum of 8 years marketing experience, global marketing, upstream marketing/product management, downstream marketing, or sales experience preferable.

  • This position requires the incumbent to operate office equipment such as telephones, computers, fax machines, copiers, and to grasp objects utilizing manual dexterity including hand/finger coordination. 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Up to 40% travel internationally

BENEFITS/COMPENSATION (including, but not limited to): 

  • Medical and dental insurance, group life insurance, 401k matching, long term disability, potential target bonus, paid time off.  

SALARY RANGE: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00

Target Annual Bonus: Up to 15% bonus target
