Description

The Compliance & Evaluation Analyst (CEA) provides essential analytical support to the Vice President of Compliance & Evaluation by conducting in-depth assessments of quality assurance and regulatory compliance across the organization. This position is responsible for analyzing key compliance processes, supporting internal and external audits through data evaluation, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of organizational data systems.


The Analyst plays a key role in interpreting compliance-related data, identifying trends and risks, and generating insights to inform strategic decisions. They develop and refine reports, dashboards, and tools to monitor adherence to licensing, training, and regulatory standards, and to support continuous quality improvement.


This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical and data management skills, a solid understanding of regulatory requirements, and the ability to synthesize information across departments. The CEA contributes to strengthening organizational compliance, improving program quality, and advancing evaluation and performance measurement efforts. 

 

This will be a hybrid position, based out of our main office at 833 Chestnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19107.The position is full time, with a schedule of Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, and an exact salary of $60,000 annually. As an MHP employee, you will have access to the following benefits:

WHAT YOU'LL DO:


Program Evaluation

  • Assist the Vice President with implementation of the quality improvement plan, including the collection and review of program performance and participant satisfaction data.
  • Analyze collected data  for trends and outliers in order to improve department and      organizational efficiency, or other specified parameters
  • Monitor organizational data collection efforts and compile information for the annual impact report.

Policy and Training

  • Collaborate with departments to support development and maintenance of MHP policies and service manuals in accordance with funder, local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Track policy review dates and coordinate reviews with responsible staff.
  • Monitor MHP’s learning management system (LMS) to ensure all compliance training required by licensing, regulations, and best practices is up to date; notifies the Vice President of any issues or outstanding items.
  • Develop and review monthly LMS training reports.
  • Track policy review dates and coordinate reviews with responsible staff.
  • Provide training and education related to compliance, incident management, and regulatory updates to staff, volunteers, contractors, and other partners as needed.
  • Participate in the organization’s Safety Committee to provide feedback on safety policies and protocols, ensuring they are effectively communicated, understood, and followed.

Audits

  • Track and manage the complaint/grievance tracking spreadsheet to support resolution and documentation standards.
  • Oversee and coordinate regulatory audits, program reviews, surveys, license renewals, and other external requests from federal, state, local entities, and MCOs.
  • Oversee monthly GPS tracking efforts for field-based programs by maintaining accurate records for auditing purposes
  • Facilitate internal self-audits and help prepare reports and findings.

Complaints and Grievances

  •  Collaborate with program and administrative staff to review and support the development of plans of correction to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Manage the complaint and grievance tracking sheet, ensuring all complaints and grievances are documented, filed, and kept up to date until they are resolved.

Credentialing

  • Manage Pennsylvania DHS PROMISe registration and revalidation for new and existing programs, including maintaining the Revalidation Compliance Tracking sheet to ensure all deadlines and requirements are met.

Requirements

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, Psychology, or related field with a minimum of 2 years experience in regulatory compliance, evaluation and data management systems, preferred.
  • Or Associates Degree in a related field within human services or health care with a minimum of 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance, evaluation, quality improvement and data management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance, audit preparation, and data tracking systems.
  • Experience in data collection and analysis using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Data Dashboard Software (Tableau, Domo, Looker, Power BI etc.).
  • Act as a liaison to the IT Department and/or outside vendors to support relevant systems and databases.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Working knowledge of Medicaid regulations, state licensing requirements, and quality improvement processes preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policy.
  • Extremely Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to learn quickly and creatively solve new problems and/or new priorities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit or stand at a desk with appropriate ergonomic support for most of the day.
• Must be able to travel to MHP programs and administrative offices as needed.
• Ability to meet the physical and productivity standards required to successfully perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
