As our Procurement Manager, you’ll lead a high-performing purchasing team, manage key supplier relationships, and ensure that our supply chain runs like clockwork. You’ll be at the heart of our growth, driving efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across all procurement operations.


What You Will Do:

  • Leading and managing the purchasing team to ensure effective procurement operations
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost effectiveness, and timely delivery
  • Review of Supplier Contracts
  • Risk management
  • Negotiating delivery schedules and ensuring timely fulfillment of purchase orders
  • Processing return-to-vendor items when necessary
  • Supporting new product introductions by leading sourcing and supplier onboarding efforts
  • Problem Solving; interfaces with other departments to resolve problems with timely delivery and disposition
  • Works closely with internal management to execute all site initiatives
  • Participates in the EH&S & ISO culture
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams on NPI projects and ongoing builds.
  • Monitor supplier performance and conduct audits or corrective actions as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

Do You Have:

  • Associate’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field or minimum of 7 years of leadership experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in Supply Chain or purchasing.
  • Must have strong communication, organizational & customer service skills 
  • Should have good computer knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must be self-motivated with a high degree of integrity & be able perform job duties with minimal supervision on a timely basis
  • Past job performance must reflect dependability, maturity, initiative, personal demeanor, & the ability to exercise sound judgment  
  • Ability to successfully lead, implement and complete projects
  • Strong background in electronics contract manufacturing
  • Familiarity with global suppliers, especially in Asia (e.g. Thailand) 
  • Understanding of BOMs (Bill of Materials) and part specifications.

You'll Shine Even Brighter If You Have:  

  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)
  • Six Sigma or Continues Improvement experience
  • Supply Chain Certificates
  • Contract management

Work Environment

  • This role operates in a hybrid or office-based environment, depending on company needs.
  • Work is primarily performed in an office setting with standard working hours; however, occasional after-hours support may be required.
  • The position requires frequent interaction with employees across different departments, requiring strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • The role may involve sitting for extended periods, working on a computer.
  • Able to lift 25 lbs.
