Educational Partnerships Success Coach

Full-time Administrator (Level 14 )

Salary Range $52,000 - $58,000 (salary is commensurate on experience)

Reports to: Program Manager of Dual Enrollment

FLSA Status: Exempt

**This position has college-wide responsibilities and requires travel between all campuses and off-site locations.

BASIC PURPOSE:

The Educational Partnerships Success Coach plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success and retention of Dual Enrollment students. By providing comprehensive support and guidance, the Success Coach helps students navigate their first college experience effectively. Key responsibilities include building strong relationships with current Dual Enrollment students, guiding new Dual Enrollment students, supporting graduating students, and assisting the Dual Enrollment team with enrollment, registration, and events. This position has college-wide responsibilities and requires travel among all campuses and off-site locations.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Serve as a point of contact for new, current, and returning students by providing consistent, accurate, and timely information about dual enrollment programs including pre-requisite questions, major pathways coursework, and scheduling.

· Provide outreach for dual enrollment students, monitoring them via our academic flagging system, intervening as needed, and providing direct assistance through referral to campus and community resources. Maintain open communication with academic advisors in support of their students.

· Work with Dual Enrollment Academy students to develop realistic academic and transfer goals, engage in post-secondary career planning, including college applications, financial aid information, and job applications.

· Perform proactive follow-up with students who have not scheduled for subsequent semesters and work with academic advisors and/or department chairs to assist in contacting students.

· Participate in programs related to mentoring and student orientation.

· Ensure accuracy of all academic information, including program curricula, on the website, College catalog, and all programmatic marketing materials.

· Collaborate with Offices on campus, including the Bursar’s Office in facilitating completion of parent release forms and student payments.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Education/Training/Work Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-2 years’ experience working in a student success environment required
  • Ability to travel, work nights and weekends as needed.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity.
  • Evidence of strong presentation, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Understanding of the Community College mission/philosophy, practice and population.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with administrative computer hardware and software.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and ability to creatively problem solve.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills:

  • Demonstrated success in making higher educational opportunities accessible to underrepresented and non-traditional students.
  • Demonstrated success in relationship building and community outreach.
  • Demonstrated success in event management, planning and execution.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) tools to support student success and retention.
