HBCSD is currently comprised of three school sites, Hermosa View, Hermosa Vista, and Hermosa Valley School. We are a TK through 8th grade school district with a friendly staff, an involved parent community, and high expectations.

Job Summary
The Director of Technology reports to the Superintendent or Designee and provides strategic leadership and hands-on management of all district technology systems and services. This position is responsible for aligning technology with instructional goals, ensuring infrastructure reliability, supporting staff and student technology use, and fostering a secure, innovative digital environment across the district. The role includes oversight of technology planning, budgeting, integration, security, and professional development, while maintaining a forward-thinking vision that supports educational excellence.

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Educational Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
* Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in information technology management, preferably in an educational setting.
* Experience with instructional technology integration and supervising technical staff.

The Director of Technology position is a full-time, 12-month assignment that includes vacation days, sick leave, and paid holidays. The role participates in the district’s retirement system and is eligible for health benefits, with the district contributing $9,550 annually toward coverage.
