In this role, the Program Supervisor provides supervision, coordinating staff schedules, and overseeing the hiring, training, and performance of team members. You will ensure timely and accurate documentation, deliver ongoing coaching and professional development, and collaborate with the management team to support staff growth. As the Program Supervisor will facilitate effective crisis communication and intervention, while fostering a supportive, trauma-informed environment.

 

ABOUT WRAPAROUND

Seneca's Wraparound Program in Santa Clara County provides culturally-sensitive, highly-coordinated intensive services to youth and families with complex and enduring needs. Through a team and strengths-based approach, the mental health supports focus on enhancing safety, placement stability, and well-being. Wraparound works in close partnership with the Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS), Juvenile Probation, Behavioral Health and Post-Adoption services to provide outcome-oriented services aimed to keep youth in their homes and community. Wraparound serves racially and ethnically diverse youth and families regardless of, but not limited to, their socio-economic circumstance, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and religion.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and maintain supervisees’ schedules for providing direct care/support for children and families
  • Perform the following personnel functions: interviewing, hiring, supervision, training, and evaluation
  • Ensure that all supervisees are submitting accurate and timely paperwork related to the services being provided to children and families and relevant to their role
  • Provide initial and ongoing training, coaching, and support to all supervisees regarding all areas of their job and responsibilities
  • Participate in weekly supervision with the Program Director or designee
  • Conduct weekly individual supervision of staff
  • Work with the Management Team to coordinate ongoing staff trainings
  • Apply crisis communication and de-escalation techniques per Seneca training, including physical intervention when necessary

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

REQUIRED:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work/Psychology/Counseling
    • Bachelor's degree + 3 years of experience providing direct care to clients may be considered in lieu of a master's degree
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Experience working with children with complex emotional/behavioral challenges
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work some evenings and weekend hours as needed
  • Be part of a rotating emergency on-call system, scheduled ahead of time
  • At least 21 years of age
  • TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies’ insurance policy

PREFFERED:

  • Bilingual Spanish skill set
  • Expertise in delivering behavioral and mental health interventions
  • Prior experience working with children/youth and families with intensive mental health needs in a community based setting

 

SCHEDULE

  • Full-time; Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm
  • Hybrid; provide in-person services & complete documentation remotely
  • Be part of a rotating emergency on-call system, scheduled ahead of time

  • Starting at $97,470 - $111,470 per year, commensurate with experience
