CTG is seeking to fill an Epic Sedation Analyst opening for our client in Philadelphia, PA.
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 months
Duties:
Analyze current sedation workflows in procedural areas (e.g., endoscopy, radiology, surgery) to identify opportunities for optimization within the Epic system.
Configure and support Epic modules relevant to sedation management, such as OpTime, Anesthesia, Procedure Pass, Stork, or other related tools.
Collaborate with anesthesia providers, procedural nurses, and other clinical users to gather requirements and translate them into Epic solutions.
Conduct system testing, workflow validation, and end-user acceptance testing for changes impacting sedation workflows.
Ensure compliance with sedation-related regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., The Joint Commission, CMS).
Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting to resolve issues related to sedation charting, ordering, and monitoring.
Deliver best practices and recommendations around workflows related to non-anesthesia sedation outside of OR and procedure rooms.
Skills:
Epic certification in one or more relevant modules (e.g., OpTime, Anesthesia, Orders, or ASAP).
Strong understanding of clinical and operational needs in procedural and perioperative areas.
Ability to translate clinical requirements into Epic build and configuration.
Knowledge of sedation-related regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Proficiency in testing and validating Epic workflows and system changes.
Experience:
Minimum of 3–5 years as an Epic analyst, including build and support for clinical workflows.
Experience working with procedural sedation workflows in a hospital or large clinical setting.
Background in supporting Epic’s Anesthesia module, case tracking, documentation, and monitor integration preferred.
Familiarity with medication safety principles and sedation-related quality metrics.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Clinical background (e.g., RN, CRNA, RT) with procedural sedation experience preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $80.00 to $90.00 per hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
