Bancroft Construction is looking for a full-time Executive Assistant. 

The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the President/CEO and the Vice President of Operations. This individual plays a key role in ensuring that day-to-day operations for the executive team run smoothly while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail. The Executive Assistant may also assist with departmental administrative tasks and coordination efforts across key business functions.

Responsibilities: 

  • Provides high-level administrative support and assistance to the President, VP of Operations, and/or other assigned leadership staff.
  • Draft letters, memos, reports, and other professional communications on behalf of executive leadership. 
  • Arranges travel and accommodations for executive staff. 
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, take meeting minutes, and manage follow-up tasks as needed. 
  • Manage calendars, screen communications, and prioritize meeting requests. 
  • Receive and process incoming communication or memos, summarizing content and distributing to appropriate staff. 
  • Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and organize internal documentation for reference and meetings. 
  • Perform basic bookkeeping and administrative support functions related to departmental needs. 
  • Provide monthly assistance to the Safety Manager by tracking and compiling safety statistics and compliance reports. 
  • Performs additional tasks and special assignments as directed by executive staff. 

Qualifications: 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems.
  • Able to type a minimum of 50 words per minute.
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, with the ability to learn new or updated software.
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • At least four years of related experience required. 
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times. 

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of executive-level administrative experience, preferably in a construction or project-based environment.
  • High school diploma required

Salary: $72,000.00 - $95,000.00

*Starting salary is based on relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
