Pay Range:  From $20.00 per Hour for “Entry-Level” and up to $25.00 per Hour for Very Experienced, Well-Qualified Professionals

Hero Practice Services is seeking a Lead Vision Technician, to achieve patient and organizational goals by effectively managing vision tech performance and proficiency levels and partnering with Assistant Manager of Vision and Operations Manager.

The Opportunity: 
 
This role has the unique opportunity to support the Heroes who actively serve the children and young people in our communities by improving their overall health and well-being.    
 
You will be responsible for the following: 
 
  • Understand, monitor, and ensure effective execution of all policies and procedures by completing administrative tasks correctly and on time  

  • Demonstrate a sense of cohesion within the practice that fosters teammate dependability and support by reporting to work as scheduled, listening carefully to others, encouraging teammates’ growth by ensuring techs are fully trained, and monitoring performance levels 

  • Ensure patients are teched and scribed in a timely manner and assists the team when falling behind 

  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment.

  • Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc. 
  • Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, Employee Handbook). 

 
You will be required to possess the following: 
 
  • Strong communication skills and leadership experience  

  • High school diploma or GED

  • At least one year of administrative experience with previous vision practice experience as a plus

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and EHR Systems

  • Ability to tech, scribe, optical, cross care, and perform Vision Team Lead tasks

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the desire for professional growth.

  • Be organized and possess a superior knowledge of dentistry.

Physical Requirements 

This position requires full range of body motion.
