Responsibilities
- Provides process improvement and project leadership for divisional and enterprise projects.
- Acts as business system lead for divisional inventory of process maps and workflows, developing and deploying tactical solutions to solve business issues at both divisional and enterprise levels.
- Participates in the development, documentation, and management of project plans including requirements gathering, design, risk analysis, testing, implementation and maintenance as needed.
- Transforms data into impactful business insights, strategy recommendations and implementation plans to improve key performance metrics for the business.
- Gathers information from internal and external stakeholders to document business, process, functional, and/or data requirements.
- As part of project plan design and management, performs dependency analysis, functional design review, workflow analysis, use case analysis, and data and process modeling as needed.
- Prepares and plans all aspects of the Requirements discipline, including controlling or participating in estimating, feasibility analysis, meeting facilitation, management and executive reporting, change request management, issue tracking, and process improvements.
- Develops and maintains divisional/enterprise financial, costing, and productivity models.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience w/Bachelor’s degree
- Business analysis experience in a center of excellence or consulting role, supporting large teams of business and executive management
- Expert knowledge and experience with financial, process and data-driven structured analysis techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate business processes and recommend effective solutions
- Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly while maintaining excellent attention to detail
- Familiarity with Delta Dental products, policies, claims, eligibility, and guidelines
- Ability to interact with all levels of personnel and communicate clearly in a professional manner
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of SQL, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), preferred
Base Pay Information
The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental’s assessment of the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
Pay Grade 21. $80,500 - $174,300
