Purpose
Responsible for mitigating financial and underwriting issues for the company's customers, carriers and employees
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Identifies risk and suggests solutions to help mitigate losses
Performs audits on sales employees and/or offices (50%)
Provides regular updates, analysis, and recommends enhancements to increase business performance while remaining compliant with regulatory experience
Participates in special projects, prepares charts, graphs, and metrics to support the department
Completes HR and Management request for internal audits and performs prior employee candidate rehire reviews
Plans, organizes, and documents findings in a case report that is clear, concise, and provides conclusion based on facts
Assists with the development, implementation, and training of fraud detection/prevention systems (15%)
Establish monitoring of early fraud indicators in financial and underwriting processes
Performs all other related duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements
AA degree in business or related field. Or,
2 years of underwriting, sales, or customer service experience in non-standard auto insurance
Knowledge of the insurance rating system(s) such as FSC and/or ITC rater
Thorough knowledge of auto insurance policies, procedures, and practices including related industry and regulatory issues
Preferred Skiils
Proficient use of Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively both orally and in writing
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive and/or complex investigations
Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively
