The Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Allocations Advisor to join the team at Northern Health.
The Allocations Advisor is based at the Northern Hospital Epping and works within the Nursing Workforce Unit (NWU) who are responsible for assisting units/departments across Northern Health to backfill areas with roster shortages. We are currently seeking an Allocations Advisor to provide staffing support to units / departments based across Northern Health’s various campuses including; The Northern Hospital, Bundoora Extended Care Centre, Broadmeadows Hospital and Craigieburn Health Service.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Current administrative experience
- Be motivated, flexible and adaptable
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills
- Display excellent interpersonal skills with a strong patient focus
- Be team oriented
- Be proficient in Microsoft office
- Able to multi-task and work well under pressure
This position is based at the Northern Hospital, Epping and incorporates a variety of shifts including:
Early Morning, Day and Evening Shifts (weekends and Public Holidays included).
Base hourly rate (excluding casual loading and any applicable shift allowances/penalties) for first year is $33.79 thereafter, rate will increase annually as per EBA
Our Hours of Operation and shift times are:
Monday to Friday (including public holidays)
AM shift: 05:00-13:30
Midday shift: 09:30-17:00
PM shift: 17:00-22:00
Saturdays (including public holidays)
AM shift: 05:00-13:30
PM shift: 13:30-22:00
Sundays (including public holidays)
AM shift: 05:00-13:30
Mid shift 13:00-18:30
PM shift 18:00-22:00
Successful candidate/s must be flexible with roster requirements as we operate a roster to cover absences as required
