You will be responsible for nurturing trust with NHS and private sector clients, ensuring smooth day-to-day service delivery in collaboration with the wider Radiology Team and radiologist network. You’ll also help monitor service performance, troubleshoot client issues, and contribute to ongoing process improvements that enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as day-to-day contact for NHS and private sector clients
- Build strong, trusted relationships with operational leads and clinical teams
- Manage client expectations and communicate service updates or changes
- Ensure client feedback is gathered and acted upon
- Escalate risks and service concerns promptly with internal teams
- Coordinate with the Operations Team to ensure timely allocation of studies based on skill mix and availability
- Monitor live service performance, ensuring reporting turnaround times are met
- Proactively troubleshoot workflow issues across PACS and reporting systems in collaboration with IT and clinical teams
- Support the internal audit process in line with client SLAs and internal quality standards
- Maintain clear, accurate logs of activity, escalations, and service KPIs
- Liaise with radiologists to communicate client needs, technical queries, or service changes
- Work alongside admin, technical, and governance teams to deliver service
- Participate in onboarding new clients or sites, ensuring smooth transitions
- Support preparation of client reports and data dashboards
- Attend relevant internal meetings, service reviews, and working groups
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience in account management or service delivery
- Confident communicator, able to engage with clinical and operational stakeholders
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple accounts and priorities
- Strong problem-solving mindset with an eye for detail and service quality
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Background in healthcare, radiology, or diagnostic services
- Familiarity with PACS, teleradiology platforms, or imaging workflows
- Experience working with NHS clients and service-level agreements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
