Description
Mini-Circuits’ sells its products to over 20,000 customers globally through our direct sales force, applications engineering staff, sales representatives, as well as through our extensive website.
The Development Test Engineer is responsible for performing electrical tests of RF components and assess integrity of the tests.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 per year
- Performs electric tests on components under qualification, production and/or characterization testing against catalog specs and customer specs using state-of-the-art test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and noise figure analyzers.
- Under supervision, troubleshoots RF measurement setups to resolve issues.
- Under supervision, initiates setups for testing, including calibration of devices and test equipment used for testing.
- As assigned by manager or supervisor, assists with completion of test jobs such as HTOL, Burn-in, ESD, and other related environmental tests.
- Summarize test results and generate written reports.
- Performs other job-related activities as assigned by manager or supervisor.
- Completes work in full compliance with department and corporate defined processes and procedures.

- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer science; practical experience equivalent to degree may be considered.
- 1-2 years of experience in a test environment.
- Knowledge of engineering testing procedures and processes.
- Experience testing and troubleshooting RF components.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong computer skills, including basic programming skills.
- Organized.
- Team player.
