Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Coordinator
Department: Shipping and Receiving
Reports to: Area Manager – Shipping and Receiving
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
SUMMARY
Responsible for collecting and preparing goods for accurate and timely outbound shipment to dealers and customers. Receives, inspects, and distributes incoming materials and supplies within the facility. Utilizes ERP software and coordinates inbound and outbound shipments with parcel and freight vendors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
- Reviews sales orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, shipped, or distributed.
- Prints and reads picklists to identify due dates, item locations, shipping methods, and special instructions.
- Stages outbound shipments and documents weight and dimensions of packaged goods.
- Marks inbound and outbound materials and items with identifying information.
- Follows packaging guidelines including package weight limits and labeling of all parts to ensure safe and timely delivery of packages and pallets.
- Records quantities of incoming materials or items in inventory management system.
- Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.
- Communicates and collaborates effectively with the Sales Order Desk.
- Performs inventory count audits and makes recommendations to Production Control and Purchasing on inventory count corrections.
- Assembles field kits and light assemblies for parts orders.
- Performs general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and organized work area.
- Works in a safe manner at all times, following all safety guidelines.

Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or General Education degree (GED).
1 year related experience in a manufacturing environment and/or additional related education preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS
Weiler Forklift Operators Certificate
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and shipping guidelines and regulations. Ability to write handwritten notes on internal documents and shipping papers. Ability to speak effectively one-on-one and in groups.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Ability to perform simple tasks, such as setting tabs, opening and closing files, and simple formulas. Prior experience with a computer required. Excel, Outlook, Intuitive ERP experience preferred.
