Construction Safety Technician - Full Time - La Porte (TX), United States

We are looking for a/an Construction Safety Technician  to join our Services_AME  team in United States .

 


 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify unsafe conditions, practices, or equipment.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of site-specific safety plans.
  • Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain safety records, including inspection reports, training logs, and incident documentation.
  • Provide safety orientation and ongoing training to workers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear.
  • Support emergency response planning and drills.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and project managers to promote a safe work environment. Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in occupational safety, construction management, or a related field preferred.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification preferred.
  • First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in construction safety or a related role.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards, safety regulations, and construction site operations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management software
  • Must have at least 2 years of construction experience.
