Construction Safety Technician - Full Time - La Porte (TX), United States

We are looking for a/an Construction Safety Technician to join our Services_AME team in United States .
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify unsafe conditions, practices, or equipment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of site-specific safety plans.
- Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain safety records, including inspection reports, training logs, and incident documentation.
- Provide safety orientation and ongoing training to workers and subcontractors.
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear.
- Support emergency response planning and drills.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and project managers to promote a safe work environment. Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in occupational safety, construction management, or a related field preferred.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification preferred.
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in construction safety or a related role.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards, safety regulations, and construction site operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management software
- Must have at least 2 years of construction experience.
