Job Title: IT Administrator
Reports to: Director of IT

Location: 3 days/week onsite in Long Beach, CA

Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Administrator to provide Tier 1 support and manage desktop systems and network infrastructure across two office locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in IT support, networking (WAN/LAN), hardware/software asset management, and the ability to collaborate with external vendors on system upgrades and security initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Desktop Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide Tier 1 support to end-users for Windows PCs, printers, peripheral devices, and common software applications.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Network Support
- Monitor and support basic network infrastructure including WAN/LAN connectivity, routers, switches, and access points.
- Escalate complex network issues to senior IT staff or vendors as needed.
- Asset Management
- Maintain up-to-date inventory of hardware and software assets.
- Track and manage device lifecycle, software licenses, and compliance.
- Vendor Coordination
- Work closely with our third-party security partner on system/network upgrades and vulnerability remediation.
- Assist with implementing security policies and patch management.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain IT documentation including network diagrams, asset logs, support procedures, and incident records.
- Provide regular reports on support issues, network status, and asset status.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a desktop support or junior network administrator role.
- Strong understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, MAC, and remote support tools.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, VPN, firewalls).
- Familiarity with hardware installation, imaging, and troubleshooting.
- Experience managing IT assets and documentation.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Able to travel between two office locations as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications.
- Experience working with ticketing systems like Zendesk, Jira, or similar.
- Familiarity with Office 365, Active Directory.
- Exposure to cybersecurity tools or vendor coordination a plus.
