Key Responsibilities
- The primary duty of a Field Sales Representative is making sales and/or obtaining orders or contracts for services that will be paid by the client or customer; and is customarily and regularly engaged away from the office and in community-based locations.
- This representative can be asked to travel throughout the state based on business needs
- Identifies upselling opportunities by identifying residential prospects in assigned community events, evaluating their needs.
- Participates in setting targeted community sales & product strategy by remaining current on competitive offers, industry trends, and market activities.
- Provides feedback to enhance sales processes.
- Maintains quality service by selling appropriate solutions in keeping with Company’s standards and identified Revenue and Penetration objectives.
- Identifies upselling opportunities and offer residents additional or upgraded services.
- Maintains product and technical knowledge by engaging in group discussions, attending sales meetings, and educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal relationships and embracing best practices.
- Coordinate and conduct Town Halls with the property to educate residents on what is to come; now that a contract has been signed with Blue Stream and to schedule their consultation appointment.
- Submit marketing tickets for collateral throughout the launch process including, but not limited to, Town Hall Flyers, Welcome Letters, Post Cards, Service & Price Guides, Certified Letters, etc.
- Conduct training on Blue Stream products and services during the installation period to familiarize community residents with our platform.
- Be onsite throughout the entire launch of the project, beginning with the start of registrations and installation scheduling.
- Be available to residents to answer questions about Blue Stream products, rate sheets and porting of phone numbers.
- Create orders utilizing the ICOMS billing system for appointments and updating accounts.
- Utilize data entry systems to register new clients for their services.
- Educate Residents on additional options above the bulk agreement to meet the needs of the customer and ensure a positive Customer experience.
- Handoff launch or conversion to normal operations and account management when appropriate

- Proven sales skills with the ability to work through the consultative sales process

- Sets high standards of performance for self; assuming responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks; self-imposing standards of excellence rather than having standards imposed.
- 2 years sales experience.
- Telecom sales is a plus.
- Also works with the Field Sales Manager to achieve sales goals.
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language. Bilingual in any language is a plus.
- Ability to organize and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Power Point.
