As part of a comprehensive Finance Function/System Transformation, this role will focus on reimagining and optimizing core finance processes, particularly in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Accounting & Control. The transformation aims to enhance operational efficiency, data quality, decision support, and compliance through the implementation of ERP systems and advanced technologies.
 

In this role, you will: 

  • Lead the design and transformation of FP&A and Accounting processes in alignment with ERP implementation goals.
  • Assess current-state finance operations, identify pain points, and define future-state process models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process designs align with business objectives and system capabilities.
  • Drive the adoption of automation, advanced analytics, and scenario planning tools to improve forecast accuracy and financial insight.
  • Standardize and streamline accounting processes, including financial close, consolidation, and reporting.
  • Partner with IT and ERP vendors to translate business requirements into system configurations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for process flows, controls, and governance frameworks.
  • Support change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes and tools.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions and continuously identify opportunities for improvement.

 

Who You Are: 

  • A strategic thinker with deep expertise in FP&A and Accounting processes.
  • Experienced in finance transformation initiatives, ideally within ERP environments (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday).
  • Skilled in process mapping, gap analysis, and future-state design.
  • Adept at working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex environments.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
  • Passionate about leveraging technology to improve finance operations and decision-making.
  • CPA, CMA, or similar finance/accounting certification is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or consulting roles with a focus on transformation.
