As an EH&S Support Specialist I, a typical day might include the following:
- Complete EH&S processes in accordance with defined procedures under the direction of more experienced staff.
- Provide status updates to SEL staff and customers. Communicates effectively with team and internal partners and customers.
- Learn and follow department processes while communicating opportunities for improvement to documentation or work instructions.
- Provide awareness of EH&S standards.
- Represent team by participating in collaborative problem solving and process improvement efforts.
- Develop basic proficiency in the activities required to support one EH&S discipline (e.g., risk assessment and incident management, waste management, industrial hygiene).
- Learn and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operation, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

Preferred Qualifications
- Two years’ experience working with EH&S
- Experience with materials management processes
- Ability to read and interpret regulatory standards
Physical Requirements
- Lift, push, pull and maneuver up to 40 pounds frequently
- Sit and stand for at least 8 hours
- Vision correctable to 20/30 or better
- Ability to differentiate color
- Use of computer keyboard devices

Pay Range Data:
EH&S Support Specialist I $21.00 - $26.00 per hour. We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills. Our ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location.
