Now Hiring: Sales Director  

As a Sales Director at M.S. Rau, under the direction of the EVP of Sales, you will lead a high-performing sales team in the execution of world-class strategies, delivering exceptional results across both individual and group performance. This position is ideal for a sales leader who thrives in a high-stakes, relationship-driven environment and understands the nuances of selling rare, luxury assets. You will serve as a coach setting the tone, the targets, and the pace for a dynamic and driven sales department.

  

Your Role Will Include:

  • Executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, and client retention
  • Leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of seasoned sales consultants
  • Optimizing and overseeing sales systems and processes using tools like Salesforce and Gong
  • Analyzing performance metrics, pipeline health, and forecasting to ensure team success
  • Building and nurturing long-term client relationships with high-net-worth individuals
  • Driving outbound efforts and in-person engagement to create a thriving, proactive sales culture
  • Collaborating across departments to ensure alignment with marketing, operations, and leadership

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • 7–10 years of progressive sales leadership experience, including team management and sales strategy
  • 5+ years of experience selling luxury goods or services, ideally with transaction values in the 6- to 7-figure range
  • Proven track record of coaching underperformers to success and delivering consistent sales growth
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, with deep experience in Salesforce and Gong preferred
  • Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
  • High emotional intelligence, client-centric mindset, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-touch environment

Hours and Compensation

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. There may be a need for occasional evening work. Rotating Saturdays are required. This position requires some out-of-town overnight travel to tradeshows and clients’ homes. 


We offer a competitive base salary, with bonus opportunities directly aligned with sales performance and strategic initiatives – compensation reflects your experience and capabilities.
