Material Handler – Floater | Kustom Signals, Inc.

We’re currently seeking a reliable and adaptable Material Handler – Floater to join our team and help streamline inventory flow, reduce production downtime, and support both our KSI and MPH lines.

What You’ll Do:
In this versatile role, you’ll assist with materials handling, inventory movement, shipping and receiving, and cross-departmental support. You’ll float between departments to ensure parts and materials are delivered accurately and efficiently—helping reduce downtime and keep production running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pull materials for both KSI and MPH production and service teams
- Deliver stockroom materials to assembly to reduce downtime
- Perform inventory transactions and cycle counts accurately
- Support shipping and receiving tasks for production and service sides
- Assist with packing, labeling, and staging outbound shipments
- Operate forklift and other material handling equipment
- Fill in across consignment, warehouse, and shipping/receiving as needed
- Support production when volume requires extra hands
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications
What You’ll Bring:
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in materials handling, inventory, or warehouse environments
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Computer literacy, including ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- Forklift operation experience preferred
- Ability to lift and move 40–45 lbs regularly
- Flexible, dependable, and eager to jump in where needed
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment
Physical & Mental Demands:
Regularly stand, walk, twist, and lift throughout the shift
Read, understand, and follow detailed procedures and instructions
