Job Description
The eCommerce Content Specialist I role is responsible for creating blogs, content, and copy that teaches our customers about being enthusiasts and how to modify their vehicles. This position will work closely with Marketing and Digital Advertising teams to create content that capitalizes on the most searched problems, or learning opportunities, that match our customer needs.
Requirements
Job Duties
- Create and implement strategies monthly for needed content for all divisions, based on campaign items and need, as assessed by divisional leads.
- Create written and optimized content for divisional sites and publish (YMM FAQ pages, individual brand pages, etc.)
- Submit monday.com cards for all open projects unable to be published individually and work with relevant teams to execute content plans.
- Work with Marketing and Digital Advertising teams to provide content recommendations and written copy.
- Report out on rankings and positions for individual keywords, pages, and page groupings, using data from sources such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, etc.
- Ensure that all written copy stays relevant to brand guidelines and tone for each division.
- Stay up to date with changing trends and guidelines relating to SEO Content and Digital Marketing best practices. Stay up to date with best practices related to content-driven Search Engine Marketing.

Minimum Requirements
Education
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree
- Google Analytics and Google Ads Certification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, English, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, or related field is preferred
Experience
- 1-3 years of experience with written content Marketing
- Experience using Google's suite of marketing and office tools
- Experience with different written copy aspects (informational, transactional, and conversational writing) is preferred
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
