Title: React Developer

Overview:
Agile Defense is seeking a React Developer to join our dynamic and collaborative team in the federal sector. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in modern front-end frameworks and front-end development, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities/Duties:
· Front-End Development (React):
o Build and maintain responsive, user-centric interfaces using React.
o Leverage advanced React features such as hooks, context providers, and memoization for performance optimization.
o Manage state and API interactions using Redux and RTK Query.
o Style components using modern CSS and design systems.
· General Development:
o Write clear, maintainable, and test-driven code using tools like RSpec, Cypress, or MiniTest.
o Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
o Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs across the stack.
o Document technical processes, software procedures, and system designs.
o Contribute to code reviews
Required Qualifications:
· 3+ years of experience in software development.
· Proven experience building applications with React and related technologies from conception to deployment
· Demonstrated ability to implement robust test coverage using tools like Jest, RSpec and Cypress.
· Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript
· Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development practices.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
· Must be a US Citizen and be able to pass an extensive background investigation for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with Formik and Yup for React form development.
· Familiarity with RTK Query for state management and data fetching in React.
· Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deploying web applications.
· Knowledge of Splunk or other log analysis tools for debugging.
· Understanding of accessibility and web performance optimization best practices.
· USCIS or DHS Experience
