Job Title: Automotive Strategy Consultant
Location: Atlanta, GA or Dallas, TX (Hybrid)
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Reports To: Project Manager / Group Lead

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Automotive Strategy Consultant with over 8 years of comprehensive automotive industry experience. This role requires extensive exposure to multiple functional areas within automotive, including compliance, finance, profitability, revenue management, pricing, and product lifecycle management. The ideal candidate leverages deep industry knowledge, market factors, strong analytical skills, and a data-driven approach to solving complex automotive challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives addressing key automotive industry challenges, including competition, regulatory compliance, profitability, environmental impacts, and technological advancements.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to clearly define strategic objectives and devise actionable, data-informed plans for achieving them.
  • Conduct rigorous market research and industry analyses to identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities within automotive.
  • Work collaboratively across various teams to synthesize complex automotive data, design robust solutions, and create actionable insights addressing key business challenges such as market positioning, sales optimization, revenue management, incentive structuring, pricing strategy, and profitability enhancement.
  • Shape operating models and conduct feasibility assessments based on deep insights into automotive data maturity and business needs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and strategic recommendations to clients, leveraging deep industry expertise and analytical insights.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, particularly in areas such as Automotive Pricing, Revenue Management, and Product Lifecycle Management. Contribute actively to thought leadership content, including white papers and industry presentations.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of broad automotive industry experience, solving complex business problems across multiple domains including compliance, finance, profitability, and product lifecycle management.
  • Proven expertise in route-to-market strategies, sales optimization, revenue management, incentive structuring, pricing, and profitability analysis.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in regulated or complex organizational environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or related fields.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with analytical and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Advanced degree (MBA or MS) in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience conducting automotive industry research.
  • Membership and active participation in automotive industry groups.
