Mission

Responsible for the achievement of sales performance goals on the national market, through the implementation of the short and long term customer business development strategies defined by HQ Sector and Regional Sales.
Ensures the identification of business opportunities, the development of the company image, manage relationships with existing and potential key customers with the aim to develop key sectors identified by HQ

Main Responsibilities

SALES INTELLIGENCE

  • Provides a depth understanding of the national markets/sectors trends, products requirements, potential business risks/ opportunities and competitors benchmarking
  • Provides information to Product Marketing function about national trends analysis
  • Analyzes the possible impacts on business of currency change rates fluctuations, the manufacturing costs and evaluates with pricing function the impacts on prices

 

STRATEGY AND PLANNING

  • Provide to Country Manager and Sales & Business Development functions targets for the national Sales market penetration based on market trends and customer needs
  • Defines the country commercial strategy and the short, mid, and long term sales plan according to the guidelines defined by Sales & Business Development function
  • Collaborates with HQ Sector and Regional Sales into the definition of new product/solutions requirements relevant to the national market
  • Define the strategy to penetrate specific Sectors in the reference Country to offer products and solution in line with sectors needs

 

SALES PROCESSES & TOOLS

  • Supervises sales processes to create culture into the whole branch and insure complete service to the customer 

 

GO TO MARKET

  • Visits, periodically, the target Key Accounts to maintain strong relationships and collect customers needs
  • Identifies new business opportunities, through “on the field” active search and scouting of potential key customers offering them best products/solutions and available services, indicating the mission of the services, the most important benefits and contractual terms
  • Guarantees the management, coordination and development of the distributors and customers portfolio within the area of competence
  • Builds partnership and co-engineering projects with customers to translate technical requirement into technical applications

 

BUDGETING

  • Contributes to the elaboration and control of the Sales budget in terms of expected sales volume
  • Definition of all the actions required if variances/deviations in the final balance occur

 

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

  • Ensures the coordination and supervision of the team and the development of skills and training
