Responsibilities include (But Are Not Necessarily Limited To):
- Develop and optimize data pipelines using Databricks and AWS Services (e.g., RDS, Redshift, DMS).
- Convert legacy code (E.g., Oracle and Greenplum) to modern formats.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity of cloud services.
- Ensure cloud environments adherence to federal, agency, and industry security standards and policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and vendor teams to deliver integrated cloud solutions.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain documentation for cloud environment, procedures, and processes
- Participate in performance tuning, system testing, and defect remediation.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, architecture, or administration for enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting federal data programs and legacy system integration, with preference for Treasury and IRS experience.
- Experience with AWS, Databricks, Informatica, Python, and/or SQL.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- AWS and Databricks certifications preferred.
- Must have active or ability to obtain IRS MBI clearance.
