Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring our properties remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You’ll be responsible for a wide range of maintenance tasks across residential and/or commercial properties, both indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on building systems, equipment, and common areas.

• Complete minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry work as needed.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.

• Maintain landscaping, walkways, parking areas, and exterior building cleanliness.

• Operate maintenance equipment and company vehicles safely.

• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other maintenance staff for specialized repairs.

• Support property projects such as renovations, seasonal preparations, or unit turnovers.

• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What You Need

• Valid Driver’s License.

• Minimum two years of property, facility, or building maintenance experience.

• Skilled with hand tools (hammers, saws, rakes, shovels, power tools, etc.) and basic diagnostic equipment.

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including some evenings or weekends, to respond to urgent maintenance needs.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift at least 50 lbs., with ability to team lift heavier items.

• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.

• Capable of standing, walking, bending, and climbing ladders for extended periods.

• Able to work in varying weather conditions.
