Location: This role is hybrid, with Office attendance to be flexible base on business needs and personal preference.

Salary and benefits:  From £55,000 plus 16% bonus up to 32%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more

The role  

We’re currently recruiting for a Senior Proposition Manager to join our Retail Direct  Product Team. 

Our newly established Retail Direct Product Team, operating under the Standard Life brand, is tasked with designing fresh and engaging products and propositions for direct customers. We are a small, creative and enthusiastic team who are determined to deliver positive outcomes for direct customers by combining many years of industry experience with deep customer insight, and innovation. 
The successful candidates will play a leading role in developing new products and propositions from initiation through Proof of Concept and into full launches. 

 What are we looking for? 

  • Customer-Centric & Strategic Thinker: Passionate about delivering value to customers while aligning with business goals; able to balance diverse stakeholder needs. .

  • Collaborative Influencer: Skilled at working across functions (e.g. digital, marketing, legal, operations) to shape and deliver compelling propositions. .

  • Clear Communicator & Problem Solver: Capable of translating complex information into persuasive narratives and solving intricate challenges with creativity. 

  • Proposition & Product Experience: Proven track record in taking propositions to market, ideally with knowledge of pensions, ISAs, or investments. 

  • Bold & Purpose-Driven Leader: Willing to challenge the status quo, lead teams, and drive meaningful change through strong relationships and direction-setting.
