Overview:

The Financial Supervisor will have ownership of the budgeting, reporting and strategic analysis for the Restaurant Solutions business unit and company-wide G&A. The FS will provide company stakeholders with an understanding of the key operational drivers in variances to budget and forecast, being the subject matter expert on all things relating to the business.

 

This will necessitate regular coordination with various levels of leadership across finance and business units, to ensure alignment. Additionally, the Supervisor will play a large role in developing robust financial models, pro-forma financial statements, and other requirements as part of high-visibility operations initiatives.

 

This role requires strong intellectual curiosity and financial modeling skillsets, as well as exceptional people skills as it involves regular interaction with senior leadership.

 

Location: Duluth, GA

Schedule: Hybrid: 3 days in office

 

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the budgeting and forecasting of Restaurant Solutions and company G&A in addition to developing an in-depth understanding of the various drivers impacting the financial results.
  2. Perform detailed variance analysis each period, to understand and effectively communicate period-to-date and year-to-date performance.
  3. Provide actionable insights, based on analyzing and interpreting data and leveraging comparative analysis and metrics reporting to identify areas of opportunity.
  4. Interface regularly with accounting counterpart(s) to ensure agreement of all numbers.
  5. Ad-hoc corporate project modeling, analysis and reporting.

Supervision Exercised

This position does not have direct reports.

 

Qualifications:

                                                                                                                                       

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  2. 4-5 years of relevant FP&A experience required.
  3. Advanced Excel, intermediate Access, and PowerPoint skills required.
  4. Solid understanding of SAP.
  5. Experience with business intelligence tools and/or data warehouse.
  6. Solid understanding of general business and financial accounting principles.
  7. Strong analytical and research skills.
  8. Demonstrated attention to detail as well as the ability to summarize results.
  9. The ability to support direct reports, prioritize and delegate tasks, and manage multiple often competing interests.
  10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to groups.

 

Physical Demands

 

  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to operate a computer keyboard and to view a computer screen for extended periods.
